Established in the late 1940s, Alister Reid Ties is one of the country’s foremost tie and neckwear manufacturers.

With experience honed over years of production, our staff are second to none in their efficiency and skill. Working together with you, our customers, we can help provide bespoke goods, designed and produced according to your ideas or specifications.

Maintaining the personal service which has earned us our enviable reputation, means that we are equally able to deal with large corporations as well as smaller clubs and schools. Amongst our clients are Evans Halshaw, Royal Lytham and St Annes Golf Club, England RFU, Gideons and Aberdeen University.

Another major part of Alister Reid Ties is the provision of regimental ties and badges covering all the services.

The majority of our products are manufactured in the United Kingdom, however we also have the capacity to manufacture overseas, to cater for all budgets and quantities.

Our ties are woven in either polyester, silk or a poly-silk mix, whilst our printed ladies scarves are either polyester or silk. Club and College scarves are all wool with a fleece backing.

The cloth for the ties is woven on a state of the art high speed jacquard loom and then hand cut to ensure precision of motif placing and continuity of future orders.
